Whole Body Cryotherapy
Whole Body Cryotherapy was first introduced in Japan in 1978, initially created to treat rheumatoid arthritis. Since then, cryotherapy has been proven to treat a plethora of inflammatory disorders and chronic pain. The options of cryotherapy are endless and are non-invasive treatments for a variety of conditions.
The Cryosauna is a metal chamber structure that covers the clients entire body; a single person device. An open air concept above allows for the clients head and neck area to be exposed to room temperature air during treatment. The pod has numerous safety features and clients can stop treatment at any time. The device can reach temperatures of -240⁰ F, which is where the magic happens. The cold air refreshes and relaxes you, triggering the body’s release of anti-inflammatories. We recommend maximum skin exposure during treatment to reap the full benefits of cryotherapy. Minimum dress code includes: a robe, socks, slippers and gloves that are provided when you arrive for your treatment, as well as your own undergarments. All jewelry must be removed before entering the Cryosauna.
During the Whole Body Cryotherapy treatment, the body is exposed to ultra-low temperatures for a short period of time. The duration of treatment ranges from 1.5-3 minutes which is just long enough to lower the client’s skin temperature significantly, without any damage. The Cryosauna uses liquid nitrogen to cool the pod to temperatures between -166⁰F and -240⁰F, dropping the patients skin temperature between 50⁰F and 41⁰F. The provided socks, gloves, and slippers help prevent frostbite on smaller extremities. Although the patient’s external temperature drops significantly, his or her core temperature remains the same.
The Whole Body Cryotherapy(WBC) utilizes the best technology to give clients a great experience every time. Exposing the entire body to these temperatures is an effective and efficient pain treatment alternative. Cryosaunas have been proven to treat arthritis, neck pain, degenerative joint disease, degenerative disc disease, inflammation, headaches, depression, lower back pain, and much more. Anyone who suffers from chronic pain or inflammation can benefit from the use of Whole Body Cryotherapy.
By focusing on the face and neck with the local cryotherapy device (cryofacial device), the surface of the face is enhanced immediately. The cold effects on the face tighten the pores while simultaneously reducing inflammation and “puffiness” that many people experience. Repeated cryofacial treatments result in the increased production of collagen by triggering the cell growth cycle, exposing fresh youthful skin. Through the cryofacial treatment, skin’s elasticity is returned to an earlier, younger time in the life of the skin.

Your spinal column, made up of 24 independent vertebrae, is what allows your body to move, twist, and bend through every motion of your busy day. It also encases and helps protect the delicate central nervous system that controls and coordinates every muscle, tissue and organ of the body. This is why we believe the first step to an active lifestyle is a properly functioning spine.
When two or more vertebrae aren’t functioning together properly, it is what many chiropractors refer to as a subluxation or a misalignment. These subluxations are actually joint dysfunctions that can cause you to experience pain, discomfort, decreased mobility, or many other symptoms and conditions. Joint dysfunctions often go unnoticed and can cause miscommunication between your brain and body.
Joint Dysfunctions in the spine may eventually lead to symptoms in other parts or joints of the body as well. These symptoms are your body’s only way of letting you know something is wrong. Unfortunately, the absence of pain is not an indication of health. By the time pain and symptoms appear the problem may have been present for months, even years. The great news is that you can help prevent these types of symptoms and conditions with routine chiropractic care.
Benefits of routine chiropractic care may include any of the following:
- Improved Nerve Communication in the Body
- Improved Joint Motion and Coordination
- Improved Physical Function and Performance
- Improved Posture
- Relief from Back and Neck Pain
- Relief from Leg, Knee, Foot and Ankle Pain

Infrared Saunas use heat and light to help heal, relax and detoxify the body. The infrared light directly penetrates your skin increasing body temperature, but does not warm the surrounding air. Because infrared heat is the same type that is produced by our bodies it is not harmful. With temperatures ranging from 100°F to 120°F, it allows the user to sweat quickly and experience a longer sauna session resulting in a more efficient means of healing. Relaxation and detoxification are just two of the benefits of the infrared sauna. Pain relief, increased circulation, lower blood pressure, reduced inflammation, wound healing, cellular health, skin purification, and weight loss are all achievable outcomes from sitting in this type of sauna. As an added benefit, the infrared sauna uses Chromotherapy to further assist in the healing process. Chromotherapy, the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies, allows for greater unity and overall health in the body. The colors are based on the sun’s seven colored light spectrum; each color addressing different symptoms that affect the body.
- Red would be applied to support circulatory and nervous functions
- Strong pink acts as a cleanser, strengthening veins and arteries.
- Pink activates and eliminates impurities in the blood stream.
- Orange activates and eliminates localized fat. Assists with asthma and bronchitis
- Strong yellow strengthens the body and activates internal tissues.
- Yellow, the brightest color used in chromotherapy, has been used to purify the skin, help with indigestion, strengthen the nervous system, treat glandular diseases, hepatitis and lymphatic disorders and assist metabolism.
- Green, a color associated with harmony, provides a neutral, positive calming effect.
- Strong green provides anti-infectious, anti-septic and regenerative stimulation.
- Strong blue lubricates joints, helps address stress, nervous tension and infections.
- Blue promotes relaxation and calm. Blue exhibits tranquilizing qualities often used to relieve headaches and migraines, colds, stress, nervous tension, rheumatism, stomach pains, muscle cramps and liver disorders. Blue is thought to have a positive effect on all kinds of pain.
- Indigo is used to address conditions involving the eyes, ears and nose. It has a calming, sedative effect.
- Violet is used to calm the nervous system, soothe organs and relax muscles. Violet has meditative qualities and is often used to treat conditions of the lymphatic system and spleen, as well as urinary disorders and psychosis.
Normatec Compression Therapy
Compression Therapy is the method of applying pressure evenly over a tight or painful area, consistently squeezing to release pressure within the veins. Compression helps to increase blood and lymph fluid flow to promote healing, proper circulation, and also reduce swelling. The NormaTec utilizes PULSE technology using compressed air to massage the limbs and mobilize fluid. The pulsing compression begins at the distal end, holds pressure to prevent fluids from flowing in the wrong direction, and works its way up each limb. The use of the NormaTec in Compression Therapy: increases circulation and flexibility, reduces soreness, swelling and edema, enhances nutrient delivery to the tissues, and speeds up athletic recovery.
Halotherapy (Salt Booth)
Halotherapy is an alternative therapy using salt for its anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and mucolytic properties. With the use of a Halogenerator, pharmaceutical grade salt is ground into microscopic particles and dispersed into the air, treating the skin and deeper into the body. By breathing in the salt, Halotherapy helps to treat: asthma, allergies, COPD, respiratory diseases, sinusitis, coughs, colds, viral infections, etc. Salt is also beneficial in treating skin issues, including: acne, psoriasis, eczema, and neurodermatitis. Halotherapy not only helps with physical ailments, but those of the mind as well. Salt naturally produces negative ions assisting in the relief from stress, headaches, and depression. This therapy helps to increase energy, mental alertness and overall well-being. Because the salt concentration is extremely high in the Booth, effects can be realized after a quick 15-minute session.
